I have USB BT Voyager 105 Modem and when I install drivers from CD the OS check says Windows version incompatible... When I install the drivers from a download from BT it gets near the end of the installation and then stops and reports that the drivers couldn't be installed and then reverses the installation..!
Can anybody help me with this? I cant get online in Vista until the drivers are installed
Thanks in advance

Modem Drivers Incompatible? HELP!!
Hmm... have you tried installing from the Device Manager MMC console? Simply right click on the Unknown Network Controller (or whatever it's called), and Update Driver and see if that helps. A lot of the time when an installation of a driver fails, it's sometimes because of the installer itself - most of the time the drivers actually work.
If not, contact BT and see if they have any Vista drivers coming or out already :o)

Thats great MKW, but how exactly did you do it????
Were you installing to 32 bit or 64 bit, what was the Build number for Vista, etc.
I'm sure every Voyager user in the world are just gagging to know!!!!!
Kind regards, Algypalgy

you can say that again !! :-)
I got my Voyager Classic modem working once - after hours of struggling - with Beta 2, but RC1 is not having any. It installs OK (not from the disc, but from drivers downloaded onto hard-drive) but I cannot actually connect.
NB BT are NO help at all (surprise, surprise !!!)
I get the impression that Vista wants to be connected via Ethernet.
